seems easier to fish plate the frame and just move the hangers back and lengthen the drive shaft
i did this to my 47wdx and was gonna move the hangers back but never did it
actually i had a pc of 3/16 bent to mimick a c channel frame tall enuff to where it sat on the hump in the frame between the spring hangers and 1 in. deeper than the bottom frame rail--removed all the rivets in the way and spring hangers torched the top rail off the new pc just behind the cab so i could run it to the front under the cab some and bolted it all back up with bigger high strength bolts and then ubolted my flatbed frame to it
