There are/were several manufacturers of aftermarket axles made for the rear M37 axle housing.

Foote made several batches over the years, IIRC.

Daniel Tibus had ~10 sets made using 300M shafts splined on each end. He also had fronts in 4340 using a standard U-joint made. I owned a pair of each and took the picture above showing the outer end with the drive flange of one of the rear shafts.
