Looks like they moved the steering box out to clear the exhaust headers. You need a set of center dump headers to clear everything. The V8 engine in my carryall is very tight to the steering box. I use Rams horn headers which go upwards from the exhaust port. If they didn't there would not be any clearance. The last spark plug on the driver's side just clears the steering box.
