If ya have a flathead engine, they don't have a lot of oil pressure anyway after they've warmed up...there just isn't a whole lot TO oil without rocker arms and such.
My engine has 55 psi+/- oil pressure when I start it, but after running it all day it max's out at 20 and drops lower when at an idle.
Keep yer oil clean, change the filter, run her till she dies. if it aint broke..don't fix it.
