Is yours a Dodge? My best information is that the rims on the other guys' dually one tons have enough offset. Dodge changed in '99 or '00 and offered 235R85 tires. The later stock rims with more offset are black instead of argent (silver) and have enough clearance for 235R85 tires. I had 235R85 tires on the silver rims and had no indication of sidewall contact, but I ran them at max recommended air pressure when I was hauling a load.
