As mentioned on some of the other posts, if you are planning on doing any trailering, try to get a manual transmission and for sure get a high numerically rear end. If you are looking for something as a daily driver and not planning on doing any towing, then the automatic transmission with a low numerically rear end should work out for you. If you want the manual transmission, don't let the dealer talk you out of it, many of them don't know beans about engine/transmission/axle setups for trucks. They just know what the sales brochures say. Good Luck, Robert
