Which 391? Ford made a 391, which was their 390 engine with a steel crank.
A Ford 391 steel truck crank has the same journals and stroke as a Ford 427 crank. If the snout is machined down, it can be used in a 427. (Or left alone and if used with the 391 front timing cover, it makes a hell for stout blower crank). Thus, it has value for Ford racers.
The rest of the 391 engine has about zero value to Ford racers.
