Larry Cook of Robston, Tx. has built two such trucks. The first was a 1967 W300
that he basically dropped the engine into.
Sam Goin now owns it. The second truck was custom built as described below.
I would weigh all options available as far as putting a diesel in a W300. The 3208 weighs 1750, and is a throw away engine, and better suited for a W500, or custom job like Larry's 2nd truck.
