The Senate passed S-1438, which was renumbered from S-1416 (sneaky trick to try and throw us off track) WITH Section 1062 intact, requiring demil of military guns, vehicles, radios, aircraft, etc. The House version passed LESS Section 1062. It goes to a COMPROMISE COMMITTEE to work out the details.
WE MUST MAKE SURE THAT SECTION 1062 DIES.
Below are the names of the people you should be calling, and a number to call them at:
Reminder:
Call/Write Armed Services Committee Members
Congressional toll-free number: (877) 762-8762 (If it's busy, don't let that stop you! Spend a quarter to call direct!)
On the weekend, a thoughtful, short E-Mail won't hurt, either! [Read about the plan to destroy Warbirds, small arms, manuals, radios, vintage military avionics, etc., in the last several weeks' issues of ANN --ed.]
