During the Viet Nam War years Phord contributed $500,000 anually to the SDS (students for a democratic society), a leading anti-war group that kept our Country in utter chaos for years . As a GI in Viet Nam I swore that I would never own a piece of crap built by an anti- American group. Being a tinkerer I have yet to see the "Better Idea " .
