A peculairity of the M37 fuel system is the in-tank filter assembly. It is a sintered-plastic cylinder, held suspended in the fuel by a single nut and long threaded rod on the pick-up pipe. The nut can and will vibrate off, and this upsets the flow characteristics of the pick-up. Usually, the symptom is that runs-OK-for-while-than-dumps syndrome. Remove the tank access cover in the bed, remove the larger round unit (the pick-up), and you'll probably see the naked fixed flange. Fish the filter, nut, and removable flange out and re-install them. I've had good luck using a "Nylock" nut here, and that corrected the problem. Good luck,DG.
