2 years ago I bought a 1953 M-37 that had been used
by the Norfolk VA. Fire Dept. for quite a few years.
No rust, all original except for turn signal add-ons
and siren and two 2" holes cut in the bed for water
tank drains. Had it appraised by a collector at
$4000. So your price is about right.
