Here's my system for 1-person bleeding of hard-to-bleed
brakes. Get approximately 10' of 1/4" clear tubing and a
couple feet of similar-sized rubber tubing. Slip one end
of the rubber tubing over the clear tubing and put the
other end over the bleed screw. Open the bleed screw and
fill the master cylinder. Hold the open end of the clear
tube over a bucket or just over the dirt while slowly
pumping the pedal and keeping the reservior full. Watch the
fluid come up the clear tube. So long as the fluid isn't
perfectly clear, pump it into the bucket or onto the ground.
Once it looks clear, hold the end over the reservoir. Now
you can pump as long and hard as you need to to get all the
bubbles out, without wasting fluid or having some one keep
turning the bleed screw. You can watch the whole length of
clear tube until there are no more bubbles in it. I have used
this on all my vehicles with great success, even after being
frustrated with trying to bleed them the 2-person way.
