As far as I know, the four pocket slab-side bed was used from 1946-1950. The stamped side bed with three curved stake pockets and flared top rails (like the four pocket box) was used from 1951-1956. The final version of the box was the three pocket stamped side bed with square stake pockets and flat top rails (like the truck on the top of the forum). This box was used from 1957-1968.
