The same gasket is found with the Senior filter. They appear from time to time surplus in great quantities and cheap. The single housing is in an identical diameter, and I have subsituted the entire assembly on a M37 for more filtration, and to use up the cases of elements I bought. Otherwise, try telling the guy at the auto parts store you need a filter element for a '48 Chevy sedan. Good luck..dg
