Of course if it is a '42 the chances are it is a 3/4 ton WC 53 anyway, and 9.00 x 16 is the right size for it. No special tricks for wheel dissassembly and rebuild ( Unlike my 7.50 x 20s on the Ben Hur) just make sure you deflate the tyre, loosen the rim nuts yourself ( if the shop do it with an air gun they can snap, and the stud is special) The nut size / profile combination is unusual too. You may have to lever the rims apart if they have'nt been stripped for a while, try not to bend them, and get them balanced before refitting. You can see easily enough if the wheel halves are fully together before inflation. I'd not be tempted to put any metal runflats back in though, as they are a pain, use rubber flaps instead. Gordon
