In a really small town you'll still see an occasional "No Jake Brakes" sign. But I was reading where the Jacobs Engineering Company actually has people whose job it is to write to the authorities and tell them to change it to "No compression brakes" because "Jake" is their brand name and they don't want to be singled out and picked on.
