For those that wNt to rebuild themselves, it is not very hard. What usually wears and results in sloppy shifting is the "ball" on the shift rod.
I had to restore the slot in the ball, Also the pin that fits in there.
I had a professional welder resort the slot, building the metal back up.
Then put new pin and I was done.
If you remove the rails there is a Clevite freeze seal that fits perfectly to seal the ends.
