Sorry deal. I have one for you, I ordered new military batteries from NAPA for my M35 2 1/2 ton. We were working on the farm 35 miles away and my wife picked them up. I installed the batteries and found they were stone dead. Pulled a cap off and there was no electrolyte in them.
When I called the bonehead manager said put distilled water in them and that would activate the acid that was already in there. When I protested he assured me that he got solid information from corporate and it would work.
Your getting ahead of me now aren't you? After complying with that stupid advice I still had dead batteries. I called him and said get me two new batteries fill them with electrolyte and charge them up with a battery charger and I would get them at 7:am when the store opened. The manager them said the freight shows up at 3:am and he wouldn't be doing anything until the store opened.
I politely convinced him to do it and he did.
He knows more about batteries and I still use him, but kid him about it every time I get a new battery.
