on mine the plate steel was custom bent to exactly fit the fender arc top and bottom and then reinforced to the frame with 3 in pipe welded to brackets bolted to the frame
it had a pulley on the headache rack to boot
i never could figure out exaclty how it worked as it was missing pcs--seem it could work to the front or the rear
i assumed it was a custom job by hlandp and they did a great job--could all be bolted on or off
