your right Clint civilian NP420 chaged bolt pattern in 1956 to the 90's with the lager trainer ,all M37 thru it run 1950-68 had the same bolt pattern as all WWII dodge and all dodge truck 4sp from late 30'''s to 1955 as well as the np420 1950 to 55
