Jim: how many miles on your 7.3? And with the 4.10 gears and ZF what rpm are you turning at 60 mph? My 7.3 has 4.10 gears and at 60 mph I'm running over 2,000 rpm. I used to do Blackstone tests every oil change but now I run straight Rotella 15w40. Supposedly it has more zinc than synthetic or conventional oil.
