The PTO is close but you should not need to grind any off it? One thing to remember I found out later on the PTO shifter handle shove the pivot pin holding it on from the drive shaft side towards the outside of the truck. Once the body is on to remove it is a pain to do cause it runs into the body if you put it in the other way. At least it did that to me.
