When you undercoat use bed liner instead, you need to primer & paint the surface first. Then while it is clean and free of all dirt you coat it. If you don't you spray over stuff that can rust and corrode the surface and the under coat starts to lift and collect moisture like a bad bondo job. It is important that you prep well not just spray it on. My cab was sand blasted inside to bare metal then epoxy primed and painted. Then I sprayed bed liner not undercoat on the surface. I don't like undercoating it is like a tar and does not seal or dry right and you can't paint over it proper. I also paint over the bed liner to protect it from the sun UV Rays that dry it out and fade it. If you don't it gets a dry faded look to it under the sun real fast.
