David, that was just local from our place and back. I have pictures of landing at Moose creek, Cayuse ck, Shearer, Wilson bar.
This new computer is kicking my butt. I have trouble posting or even finding my pictures.
Moose creek is 27 miles up the selway from the falls in the designated wilderness. There is a ranger station there but all of their personnel and supplies and equipment has to be packed in on the pack strings. I have made the trip a few times when we had horses. You can make the ride out in a long day downstream or walk it in two days. I can fly you and your stuff in if you want to walk it. Very rugged and beautiful country.
I found a small patch od arrow leaf balsam root at Cayuse one June and picked some for sent bags. I love the smell of it. It is like catnip to me.
