Curious if anyone has driven this route in the last few years.
I'm a little bit familiar with the area but haven't tried the trail. Planning to take a couple of rigs through late spring and then continue on paved roads around to Butte. Sounds like it might be narrow and windy enough on the ID side that a crewcab would be a nuisance (?). Not looking for an off-road adventure, just a slow trail drive and some camping off the beaten path. Or has this one become the beaten path?
