I put a 4bt in my 66 chevy. I have the stock radiator for the truck. The truck never got about 135. I put a valve in the heater hose and just open it enough to warm the outlet of the heater core. These motors will run water thru the heater core with the thermostat closeed. I still could get any temp. I blocked all but 2 inches of my radiator and it now heats to 180. I have no fan of any kind in my truck. I has never gone about 190 on the hottest day. And that is with the radiator 1/2 blocked.
