I was pretty got at that statement also since I've dumped over a half million into tooling and restoring a 1909 shop to house it all. This is a nitch market if that's the right word. In a sense there is almost zero market for these parts in relationship to the cost of the tooling. I have conquered all three series of the beds and also the front Fenders and the most accurate running boards on the market. Also adding the running board brackets the only available accurate stamped brackets on the market. While I'm also working towards the doors and hoods I realize there is no market for them in relationship to the cost of the tooling. In other words you have to be damn near nuts to do so in a business sense. I've conquered these parts do to the fact I was tired of buying high priced rusted junk. We all remember the days of high or over priced 2nd series bedsides for 2k+. I've acquired nearly fifty trucks and I need the parts myself and I've helped many with parts to make there restoration projects move along. It's been a very expensive venture with many in the past sending hate mail and being negative saying I'm ruining the value of original trucks. It's those comments that have given a bad taste and by that I'm very hard to get ahold of and don't usually deal with selling just stake pockets or a single bracket. I've sold small volumes to others and allowed them to handle my parts in the past. I have a good relationship with those at least I feel so or hope I do. Eventually the entire cab will be reproduced here in the USA. I've also been working on custom hubs to fit the Dana 60 and corporate 14 to allow pw wheels to fit correctly on modern axles. Hopefully rics wheels will be used on every build because the attention to detail relates to what I'm trying to accomplish. Thanks Matt a Tisdale
