i hear you, i like narrower tires they bite better.
My jeep is still running 33x9.50 R15 BFG muds.
I am running these KO2's on my 06 dodge with a slightly larger tire than stock.
the stock tire is tooooooo wide for my taste and not tall enough so i am running 285 75 R17 load range E
they are nice, no suspension mods needed but a large tire without going too wide, they have awesome traction and ride WAY! better than the stock tire because they have a larger air cushion.
When i bought my first set of BFG's forever ago i became a lifelong fan. My first trip out in the mountains i put a 6" gash in the sidewall driving through a river and hit a sharp rock it cut right to the cords you could see it from 15 feet away.
I was pissed but said well ill keep driving on it till it completely fails......
I sold that truck 5 years later having never lost a single pound of air from that tire.
lots more off road trips and never had any issues.
Love MY BFG's!
