Swapping Transmissions?

What exactly is needed to swap in a synchro tranny (NP420) for my non-synchro tranny? I am looking to swap them in my 1955 FFPW. I already have the synchro tranny and pto.

I know I need a clutch bell housing for the synchro tranny, transmission cover with both left & right floorboards. Anything else?

It is my understanding that the synchro tranny is pretty much plug and play, correct? Will the old clutch work correctly with it? Anything I need to watch out for?
