I have found it diffcult to touch up powder coating on my Harleys when scratched.My W-300 is getting used on the job every day.So i wired brushed and scraped my M-715 wheels and painted them with spray can Rustolem black.They look fine and are easy to touch up after hammmerin on the split rings when changing tires etc....
