Seams like with all the "ground up" (no pun intended) restoration effort on your PW that one would at least look at the 318/360 conversion instead of leaping into a 350, based on old tapes. It's not a purist issue and I don't buy the Pep Boy availability line either. You may as well admit it... we often chose the road less traveled!
