Well if it helps lew the damage was done a long time ago as a matter of fact this truck hasnt moved since 1962 and was stored in the dessert. I am a purist by hart I have been restoring concorse level indians for the past 12 years and fully understand keeping it original, but in this case I thought putting the best engine ever built into it would be a perfect combo. Not to mention I can get parts at any parts store any time, thats helpfull when you are on the road, any way lew I smell what you standing in. Diffrent strokes for diffrent folks
