Mike, I just got my '48 home the other day (I posted a "little" message about it), and mine's got a small block chevy in it. I'll try to send you some photos when I take them. The hood and cowling aren't on right now, so that might provide some good photos. There are however, hanging pedals, but I can tell you they used the old style front motor mounts (I had them on a '57 Chevy truck once, bolt up to the front corners not the normal side ones, seemed to work well for the steering clearence and things). Unfortunatly, I didn't do the swap, so I can't tell you a lot about it, but I'll get some photos to send soon.
