Hey Robert,
Tell him to wait 10 months if he can. Dodge has the new HD Rams comming out then with a new and improved Cummins and Allison transmissions. I have a ferd 7.3 work truck (company truck) and I am on my 3rd engine, my second transmission and the 4th of everything else! It is poorly made and not anything close to the Ram in ride quality.
