I was wondering what the torque specifications were for the front drum brake mounting bolts. This would be the series of bolts that hold on the 'plate' which supports the brakes shoes and cylinder. In my manual I found 55 ft pounds. When I was installing the bolts at this level, one of them broke. Is 55 ft lbs the correct torque? It is a 1966 W200 crewcab. Thanks for any help.
