My '66 W500 has a huge hydro-vac brake booster system that works great - none of those nasty, pedal on the floor SUPRISE! events that can ruin your whole day, along with your underwear.
The transmission in my truck is a New Process 540 (5 speeds, synchro), and i have a large pto coming off the transfer case up to the 12,000 lb Gar Wood winch (i weally wanted a wench!) in the front bumper assembly.
About 2-speed axles: I'm going up to get the one I bought from Britt in Cool probably next week, and will this winter get it ready to install in the rear. The high side will be for highway driving only; I'll be looking around for the proper combination of gears...
Since these trucks are substantial, they and their parts are also expensive. This is my first power wagon, so I have nothing to compare it to in terms of M-37s, WM300s, etc.
