When I was just a baby, a American flag was given to me for safe keeping. I have always wanted to see her flying, but knew it would
have to be a special time. THIS IS THE TIME ! After safe keeping of over 50 years SHE flys again.

This flag flew on the mast of the USS Indianapolis ( CA 35 ) when she carried her secret cargo to Tinian. The USS Indianapolis was later sunk by a Jap Sub on 30 July 1945.

Her secret cargo, the MAJOR components for the Atomic Bomb.
