Tribute to the USA was written and recorded By Canadian broadcaster Byron McGregor (well known to Detroiters who listened to CKLW 800 in the early 70's).It became very popular for a short while and earned royalties of over $100,000 which were donated to the Red Cross.
Byron McGregor Passed on a few years ago, but the recording is probably available on CD or the internet. It is a well done piece,read by McGregor with patriotic music as a backdrop.
