my friend who runs a surf camp here had the crewcab 2500 ctd and used it to haul surboards and clients to beaches on bad roads--the diesel trased the suspension and steering in nothing flat and he traded it for the hemi and luvs it
if i were you and want to run the diesel i would look at 4500 or 5500--maybe their suspension can handle the torque and weight of the diesel
