Fortunately, and in no small part due to Americans' efforts, Japan has turned into a prosperous and technically adept ally. It is also safe to say that they remain highly competitive. This serves to keep us moving forward also.
BTW: Our news channel has mentioned Pearl Harbor Day several time, beginning on Saturday.
