The Diodes are real important when you use one switch to control the 2 motors!! Not sure what happen but they turned on by themselves. Must not have been totally in park on one of the motors and slamming the door or what ever made them come back on. They got out of phase when I was not at the truck. Looked at one wiper blade and noticed it was bent at the tip? The other motor back fed it and kept it going and it destroyed the blade! Glad I bought a extra one for some reason. Those motors are strong to just rip a blade up when it got stuck under the glass seal. It did blow the fuse and glad it was the right size. I thought I smelt a electrical smell yesterday but blew it off cause of some fresh paint smell. Motors are OK but I pulled the arms off till I put the diodes on both of them to stop that from ever happening again. Another way would be to use 2 switches and not tie the Hi/Low Windings together. The switch gives constant power to the motor so it can park then shut off. That can also keep the other one going past its park by back feeding it. The diodes on the High Low wires will only allow flow one direction which makes the wipers work but when it goes to park or off it stops the electricity from going back on the wire to the other motor and keep it going. Problem is with 2 motors they can get ahead or behind each other when going so the park power tells the low/high to keep going till it hits a certain point. If the other one is lagging behind, it will still send power to the other one till they get back to swinging the same way. This can confuse the other motor and make it hard to set the blades right on the shaft. It can stop but not in the same place all the time. It can also take a while for them to shut off!
