There were about 4 different bore sizes, the early little one at 3 1/8" which was of no interest, one at 3 1/4" used in the '39 through about '42 small trucks, 3 3/8" common after '42 and 3 7/16" used in over 1 ton also from about '42, but were hard to find when we needed them in the '50's - early '60's. Got a good one in the workshop I'm keeping for a possibly later project not PW related. It's got to be cleaned up, but was running fine and I'm told it's bored 60 over - I might get back into hot-rodding one of these again one day. Have to finish the PW first.
