I sure like the way my 237 runs on my 53 1.5 ton. I have put 472 miles on it in the last two weeks running to town and having fun. I have to take it out onto I-80 and was concerned about fast upcoming traffic. but all good, It runs down the road at 60 mph at 3200 RPM. I can push it to 65 but don't like to. The engine is original with only around 16,000 miles on it. I converted it to PVC and added vacuum advance. Not to bad on gas, unloaded I have been around 16-17 MPG. Next up is to add By-Pass filtration. I did take the oil pan off and cleaned out some minor sludge. Oil still looks clean and feels good to the touch. Hasn't used any oil.
