Not doing it yet but was thinking about it. It would be nice to lock up the PW secure when I go into places. New key locks seem to be very expensive. I have a door lock on the passenger side but it does not have the rod going into the rest of the lock. I found these 12 VDC Fail Safe power needed to keep it locked door pin locks for $20.00 each. It could go into the door side with a small rectangular hole cut into it. Then drill a hole in the cab for the harden pin to go into. They have a plate to go over the hole. Then you could use a hidden switch or a key switch to operate it with. Uses 12 VDC and very little draw to keep it locked. Spring loaded to hold it open the rest of the time. What do you think? Not original but hidden from view and it sure would keep it locked!
