Good memory Matt, that was quite a number of years ago. In short, I got far enough into the project to realize that, while technically feasible, I didn't have the funding available to make it a reality.

As I write this I realize that funding issues have changed a bit with crowdfunding websites, so it might be worth looking into again.

I spoke with Dennis Gronan this year about his OD, and the ins and outs of making them. In short, his supply of take out Laycock unit had dried up, and he didn't have good cores to work with. But he was interested in talking with someone who wanted to carry on where he left off.

Gear Vendors makes a nice unit that bolts onto a 200/201/205 case, but it would have to be modified to work with the 200/201 shaft, etc. And they are fairly expensive at $3100.00.
