FWD is a truck company (Four Wheel Drive Corporation) that has been around for about 100 years.
The company changed ownership moved several time and I believe were built in Canada for a time.
In this area of PA there were some FWD fire trucks for a time. Obtaining parts would be difficult as they sourced from many suppliers. It seemed like no 2 trucks were built the same as they teamed up with what was available to complete a build or a custom build. Not uncommon to see an FWD / Seagrave or FWD / custom made body.
