One other variable that is impacting the price is that, compared to antique GMC and Ford trucks, there is a very limited amount of replacement sheet metal and other parts available for Dodge, Studebaker, REO, etc, trucks.
I have been told that someone could basically build a "new" vintage Ford or GMC/Chevy truck from currently made replacement aftermarket parts.
No way with a Dodge, especially a power wagon. Although slowly we are seeing more parts come available, such as beds sides from Matt, etc.
