Moving the ball forward a little bit...

It is very warm today in NH, so I went out for "just an hour" to put some paint on my frame before it gets too cold. Half a day later, I am back having lightened the truck by at least 200# as a result of removing each of the diamond plate running boards which were heavily welded to the frame. Then I was able to get to the painting.

So now the truck is lighter and 6" narrower. Between the old plow frame/front end mess and the running boards I think I've removed at least 400 to 500# of plate, angle and weld beads.

I've gotta hurry up, the snow is coming!
