There's no way to "glue" polyethylene -- you have to "weld" it. You can do it with a blow torch (carefully), hot nail, or soldering iron (my favorite). You need to use the same kind of plastic as filler that the thing is made out of and you need to be careful to get it all mushed together, but it works well if done right. For a tiny pin-hole, you can just smear it around with a hot iron.
I have a vague recollection from my engineering days that there actually is some way to glue polyethylene but it involves first etching it with something frightening like hot hydrofluoric or nitric acid and then using some very special adhesive.
